AAF Coordinator/ LP Remote Video Monitor Detective

About You

We in Loss Prevention are looking for the person to round out our team in a dual role as an LP Remote Video Monitor and Associate Assistance Fund (AAF) Coordinator. Believing we impact the organization on both a strategic and associate level we need someone that shares our vision of transforming the traditional Loss Prevention role.  You will be part of a team that works closely together and is straightforward in our communication with each other. You will bring your energy and passion to contribute to our team in many ways.

Position Snapshot

As an integral part of our Loss Prevention team, you will be responsible for a variety of Loss Prevention administrative tasks along with facilitating assistance to our associate’s through the company’s non-profit organization, the Associate Assistance Fund.

In your role as the LP Remote Video Monitor, you can expect to spend time conducting video surveillance and completing investigations of known theft or fraud. As the AAF Coordinator, you will be responsible for playing an important role in the company’s non-profit organization. Both require a confidential approach and direct collaboration with the Director of Loss Prevention. Microsoft Excel and the Office suite will become a trusted friend and you will enjoy learning many other software packages and the interfaces between them.

 

Job Requirements

Day in the Life

  • Conduct video security checks while identifying recommendations for ways to prevent loss
  • Professionally communicate with corporate and multi-store management
  • Participate in investigations of known or suspected internal theft or external theft
  • Conduct store audits to identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies
  • Respond to all inquiries regarding assistance for funds.
  • Reviews all applications for aide by tracking and retaining requests, verifying associate eligibility and completeness of applications.
  • Conduct weekly AAF Advisory Committee meetings including summarizing findings, requesting additional documentation from associate and contacting associates to respond to questions.
  • Plan and conduct any fundraising events and increase awareness of AAF through marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain communication with community nonprofits that can be accessed by associates.
  • Maintain knowledge of non-profit rules and regulations, IRS reporting requirements and relationships with the non-profit community at large.
  • Prepare year-end report for financial business meeting, prepare tax information for accountant and ensure all forms are submitted in timely manner.
