Job Description

This position is the primary liaison between the merchandise, e-commerce and marketing teams.  Regular meetings are held with all three teams to determine featured products, relevant trends and cohesive brand voice.  Verifying that a consistent approach to all customer communication, reviewing and correcting written material to improve accuracy, readability, and fitness for its purpose and ensuring that it is free of error, omission, inconsistency, and repetition is a key element of this role.  The Omnichannel Content Coordinator works closely with senior management, buyers, online merchandising and the marketing team to ensure that the business offers a seamless omnichannel experience. 

Job Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide input, review and edit all emails.
  • Offer direction to online merchandising based on in-store sales and buying trends.
  • Write product descriptions as needed.
  • Provide title content and organization for monthly periodicals.
  • Utilize merchandise and marketing tools to work as a part of a larger group to help create/edit content for in store print, direct mail pieces and others as needed.
  • Secure product samples for scheduled photography needs and promotional materials.
  • Help to ensure that all relevant trends are being represented in email and social media communication as well as visually on the e-commerce website.

Education and/or Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.

  • Creative writing, proof reading and editing skills
  • Ability to spot trends
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized and timely manner
  • Comfortable making decisions based on verifiable information
  • Adaptable to rapid change
