Job Description

Under the direction of the Vice President of Merchandising, provide general support to the Buyers, Assistant Buyers and other members of the Merchandising team. Support the Buyers and Assistant Buyers to meet or exceed set goals, work with vendors as directed and track data in a timely and accurate manner.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain file maintenance system and ensure accuracy by updating data, entering new items, and deleting discontinued product to ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Provide administrative support is required to ensure efficient operation of the team.
  • Answer inquiries to ensure customer requirements are met.



Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent GED required.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient with multiple computer programs including MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet goals.
