Job Description

Responsible for the administrative support and day-to-day operations of the HR Department including a variety of routine functions related to the processing of personnel files and payroll functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance and reporting.
  • Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reporting.
  • Processes garnishments, child support, and employee pay cards in a timely manner, following state and federal guidelines.
  • Scan all appropriate documents to correct and appropriate electronic files
  • Audits files and documents on a regular basis to ensure that required documents are contained in associates' files.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in handling all documents.
  • Assists with HR projects

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • Prior experience working in a document retrieval system and Lawson strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Intermediate level computer skills including MS Office programs, Excel and email
  • Ability to operate scanners, printers and other office equipment
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Knowledge of computer software for data entry, scanning and other tasks
  • Ability to prioritize assigned tasks
  • Ability to perform repetitious tasks without error

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Must be able to sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use hands/arms to operate keyboard, telephone and for repetitive motion activities.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Must be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
