Job Overview:

Required to support various shifts, primarily PM, weekends and holiday coverage.  Reporting directly to the Customer Service manager/team leader, this position operates by AWBC policies, procedures, workflows and performance standards. Works to incorporate the company’s passion for core values: Safety, Positive Communication, Personable, Integrity, Collaborative, Vigilant, Aspirations, Diplomatic, Resourceful, and Modest.  Acts as a primary point of contact for store associates and customers regarding account questions and general services.  Ensures quality service through accuracy and the commitment to first contact resolution while illustrating behaviors that support unparalleled customer satisfaction using the phone, email, and chat.  Initiates sales and retention as an integral part of quality customer service. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Approach sales and retention as an integral part of providing quality customer service by educating the customer on BAM products and services. 
  • Act as an ambassador of the company on all issues.  Includes but is not limited to billing, order inquiries, liaison to store associates, escalations, and service.  Actively demonstrates the value of our membership. 
  • Accurately creates Zendesk ticket for each contact for all three communication channels. 
  • Responsible for covering PM shift five days & includes holiday coverage. 
  • Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service industry.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong professional communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to handle live chat and phone calls simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and professional through stressful or ambiguous situations.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, weekends and overtime with limited notice.
  • Understanding of BAM & 2NC products and services.
  • Microsoft office skills required.

 Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Must be able to sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use hands/arms to operate a keyboard, telephone and for repetitive motion activities.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Must be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without an assistive device.

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job
