We are constantly looking for ways to understand what our associates have to say about their experiences working at Books‑A‑Million.

Through a link on our Company's intranet, we are always asking for, and taking action on the feedback we receive from our associates. Whether it refers to something that they love about working for us, or if there is an issue that needs to be addressed, we want to hear from our associates!


At Books-A-Million we are a part of the community. Our Corporate associates, Distribution Center associates, and our Retail associates give their time and money to help those in the community.

Our BAM Brigade, readers uniting for good, work to support activities at local hospitals, relief agencies, sponsor book drives for local schools and libraries, or giving troops overseas just a touch of home with our Coffee For The Troops program. Our associates work hard to support the communities in which we live and work.

Our associates are at the very core of what makes us successful. Throughout the Books-A-Million family of companies, we support our associates in a variety of ways. Started after the devastation from hurricane Katrina, our Associate’s Assistance Fund helps fellow associates when they might need a financial boost. Fires, floods, and tornadoes are no match for the caring spirit of our associates.
