Job Description: 

Reporting to the Returns Manager, the Lead, Returns Dock provides leadership to the returns dock associates, managing the workflow of the Returns Dock. The Lead is responsible for all shipping/receiving activity, ensuring that work is delegated appropriately to meet daily and monthly operational goals and works in collaboration with other warehouse departments


  • Oversee and manage the work of Returns Dock Associates
  • Responsible for delegation of work, managing to volume and production goals
  • Provide guidance and serve as a “troubleshooter” for workflow issues
  • Work closely with the Shipping team to ensure empty trailers are available as needed
  • Oversee the scheduling of outbounds shipments
  • Manage work to accomplish monthly shipping goals
  • Mange the distribution of products and other items throughout the warehouse
  • Provide daily reporting on key metrics
  • Understand all aspects of Returns department and be able to take over for Returns Lead – Sorter if needed.
  • Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.

Job Requirements



  • Three years of related Warehouse experience
  • Experience in shipping/receiving, preferred
  • PIT certified or willing to become PIT certified


  • High school diploma or equivalent


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic Mathematical Skills

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Stand for long period of time, up to 4 continuous hours, 8 – 12 hours during a shift.
  • Walk up to 8 miles a day. Walking short distances through the department/building.
  • Use hands/arms to operate required equipment and repetitive motion activities.
  • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
  • Bend, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
