This was a year of tremendous growth for our wholesale division. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Engineering Warehouse Associate is assigned to work 2^nd shift and assists with inventory management by scanning, counting, stacking items onto skids/shelves, in a fast and accurate manner. The Engineering Warehouse Associate uses a forklift or other PIT to move/stack inventory.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in a distribution center/warehouse setting and with the use of radio-frequency scanner preferred

Skills

• PIT experience and/or the ability to become PIT certified

Effective verbal and written communications skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work in teams or independently

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Stand for long periods of time, up to 4 continuous hours and up to 8 – 12 hours during a shift
Frequent walking through the department/building
Use hands/arms to operate required equipment and repetitive motion activities
Lift objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device
Bend, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job
Operate power equipment
Ability to work in a noisy environment
Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
Willing and able to work in variable work locations
