Job Description


Reporting to the Operations Excellence Manager, the Operations Process Analyst is an important member of the Operations Excellence Team, responsible for utilizing accepted quality and lean principles to track, analyze and report on operational processes.  In addition, The Operations Process Analyst is responsible for assisting and performing process improvement activities and projects focused on identifying operational improvement.  

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyze critical daily operations data
  • Conduct operational audits as needed either individually or as part of a collaborative work group
  • Conduct root cause analysis of errors identified during audits and identification of process improvement opportunities
  • Complete or support the completion of audit work papers, audit scorecards and reports to the leadership team.
  • Follow established Operations Excellence protocols when conducting audits and reporting results, including review of all audit exceptions
  • Assist with the Order Filling quality program, including collecting and maintaining the integrity of all quality data perpetuated through this process
  • Perform and assist on all activities related to the Logistics Planning process
  • Directly support the Operations Excellence Senior Manager and Manager in data analysis, project planning, and project execution. This includes the collection of critical cost and operational data, data analysis, process flow analysis, and presentation for process improvement purposes.
  • Communicate with and shadow other departments and end users to develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in development of presentations for monthly facility updates.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management at the discretion of the Operations Excellence Manager
  • Maintain positive relationships with all company associates
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or Bachelor’s Degree in unrelated field with appropriate level of relevant experience 


  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work either independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of warehouse/department functions
  • Certified in Process Excellence or a Six Sigma related continuous improvement program
  • A thorough knowledge of data organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Intermediate statistical analysis skills
  • Basic knowledge of financial principles and calculations
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to flex efforts to areas with greater need
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with senior management, executive management, and corporate office personnel


    Physical and Environmental Requirements

    • Sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time
    • Use hands/arms to operate keyboard, telephone and for repetitive motion activities
    • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
    • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device
    • Stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job
