Job Description: 

The Loss Prevention Specialist reports directly to the Manager of Loss Prevention. The loss prevention specialist is responsible for Prevention of shrink, safety, truck inspections/audits, video surveillance for product/time theft, and package checks on all associates leaving the building. The Loss Prevention Specialist demonstrates behavior that supports AWBC core values. Work schedule will be Sun - Thursday 11:00PM - 7:00AM 


  • Monitor facility surveillance and investigate/audit any suspicious behavior
  • Perform package checks for every individual leaving the facility
  • Manage truck entrance, logging arrivals and departures and ensuring the entrance is secure
  • Manage all facility visitors, ensuring they have the proper escort while on company property
  • Manage security access for all associates, creating and maintain individual badges
  • Place cameras and run coax cables for installation, as needed
  • Responsible for placing security tags on high value/high theft potential product before it is shipped to stores
  • Manage and assign truck seals to shipping and returns associates
  • Monitor severe weather threats and notify operational leadership of any potential concerns
  • Build rapport and strong working relationship with facility leaders
  • Answer and direct calls that come in to the general facility line
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



  • Five or more years of Loss Prevention, Law Enforcement or related experience 


  • High school diploma or equivalent 


  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook; AS400 experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Physical and Environmental Requirements

    • Sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time.
    • Use hands/arms to operate keyboard, telephone and for repetitive motion activities.
    • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
    • Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
    • Stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
