Job Description

The Internal Audit Intern will work directly with the Manager of Internal Audit on various projects as they relate to the Internal Audit function. As an intern, you will be provided with job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities, while experiencing the BAM! culture.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of the annual risk assessment and audit plan.
  • Assist in annual internal control testing.
  • Assist in developing the quarterly Audit Committee Report.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Current college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with course work in Finance or Accounting.

  • Completed basic Financial Accounting coursework.
  • Completed coursework related to the Internal Audit function.
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team oriented with ability to work independently

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Must be able to sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use hands/arms to operate keyboard, telephone and for repetitive motion activities.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Must be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
