This was a year of tremendous growth for our wholesale division. We invested significantly in the infrastructure to support our growing e-commerce fulfillment business and greatly expanded our title base. Job Description:

As a critical role to operations the Order Entry department, the Order Entry Specialist is responsible for processing daily order filling orders, preparing pick labels, and reporting critical order data. This position’s hours/scheduling is determined by Order Fillings schedule. This includes periods of 4-night weeks, as well as periods of 5-night weeks during peak season.

Roles and Responsibilities

Count and verify inventory on shelves, key count information.
Perform the nightly tasks of processing orders in the warehouse management system and printing order labels.
Organize labels based on select criteria for the Order Filling department.
Perform daily reporting on critical data as it relates to order information.
Perform other systemic duties in the warehouse management system as it relates to delivery routes, order management, and order printing.
Update other information systems in the facility based on daily planning.

Perform additional assignments as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

High school diploma
Experience using warehouse management systems or prior order entry work experience preferred.

Skills

Must have a strong attention to detail
Must have excellent computer skills.
Excellent organizational skills and be able to establish priorities.
High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with AS/400 or other information systems preferred.
Must be able to work with strict nightly deadlines.
Must be able to work well independently and without direct supervision.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Stand for long periods of time, up to 4 hours continuously
Sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time.
Use hands/arms to operate required equipment and repetitive motion activities
Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
Communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
Stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
